Meet Our Employees
Our staff strive to create a safe environment for the youth of Kittitas County through mentorship and leadership
Hi, my name is Alice Nelson. I am the Executive Director at Youth Services and have been with the organization since January 2019. I served in the United States Marine Corps honorably for 5 years and have a background in workforce development, psychology and child development. I am passionate about being a part of a community that empowers all youth to live healthy, happy and fulfilled lives.
Lower County Program Coordinator
Hi, my name is Taylor Hillius and I am the Lead Lower County Program Coordinator. I have been with Youth Services since July 2019 and I love it! I just recently graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in Social Services as well as a Law and Justice focus. I knew I wanted to continue to work with kids so I could not have asked for a better job to jump into after graduating.
Upper County Program Coordinator
Hi, my name is Stephanie Bohman. I am the Lead Upper County Program Coordinator and have been a part of the Youth Services Team since August 2019. I had owned and operated a childcare in Alaska for the majority of my career. When moving to Ellensburg in 2013, I took time away from any career to help my family settle into this wonderful community. I was welcomed to join the Youth Services Mentoring Program as the Lead Upper County Program Coordinator after leaving Dr. Bridgeman’s practice. I enjoy living in Kittitas county for it provides the best of both worlds; small town living with easy access to the big city life only a few hours away
Community Coalition Coordinator
Hi, my name is McKenzie Knowlden. I am the Community Coalition Coordinator for the Cascade Prevention Coalition based in Upper Kittitas County, and have been with Youth Services since August 2020. In a nutshell, my title means that I get to work closely with community organizations and agencies, community members, and students in the coalition’s goal to prevent youth substance use and its consequences. I graduated from Central Washington University in 2018 with a B.S. in Public Health emphasizing in Population Health and am a Certified Health Education Specialist. I have worked in Kittitas County doing prevention and health promotion throughout my undergrad and beyond with experience in the university, county, and non-profit sectors. I love this community and am passionate about making it a healthier home for our youth.
Hi, my name is Cassey Henrickson. I have been a part of the Ellensburg community for over seven years now. I recently graduated from Central Washington University with a master’s in education. Before becoming the program administrator for Youth Services, I worked within the Kittitas Superior Court Clerk’s Office. I love Ellensburg and the surrounding area. I am ecstatic to have the chance to make a difference within the community.
